Mahogany Barber's Chest, Louis XVI Period
An elegant, all-around barbière made of mahogany and mahogany veneer, with a white marble cabaret-style top (minor restoration); the top can be moved to reveal a tilting mirror operated by a rack-and-pinion system, surmounting two small side drawers and a niche with two fluted columns and a white marble top; the lower section opens via three drawers (with a key) and rests on four tapered legs ending in casters (minor signs of age).
