Messenger's Chest, 16th Century.
Wrought-iron collection box or church collection box. In good condition. Mounting hole on the back of the box. The flap covering the keyhole was originally secured with a small knob in the left corner at the base of the box; the mechanism is in working order, but the knob is missing.
