A perfect embodiment of the excellence of mid-20th-century Danish cabinetmaking, this rare pair of small rosewood sideboards is designed by the renowned designer Kaj Winding. Designed in the 1960s, these pieces—with their ideal, minimalist proportions—showcase the exquisite beauty and deep contrasts of the rosewood grain.
A true showcase of functionality, the first sideboard features a door that opens to an interior layout comprising numerous stacked storage drawers, while the other side opens to reveal five drawers.
The second sideboard features two doors that open to adjustable shelves.
Preserved in good original condition with their original keys still present, these pieces by a renowned designer show slight scratches from use on the top surfaces—a testament to their history—which in no way detract from their superb patina.
