The artwork is in very good condition for its age (approximately 120 years old) and is delivered in an antique frame.
Authenticity guaranteed.

This is a superb watercolor by Allan Osterlind from around 1900, depicting fruit trees in bloom in the spring near a thatched cottage, with the coast and the sea—or a lake—in the distance....However, this work is marked on the back, “....northern Brittany....” which is entirely plausible, as we know, of course, that Allan Osterlind lived on the island of Bréhat and painted extensively along the Côtes d’Armor near Ploumanac’h, Perros-Guirec, etc... Then again, why not in Creuse near a lake or in Sweden....
One immediately recognizes Allan’s style, especially in watercolor, which, according to connoisseurs, was the medium in which he excelled the most; he produced countless works in this medium, whether in Brittany, the Creuse, Spain, or Sweden....
Allan Osterlind needs no introduction: a famous Swedish painter based in France, father of Anders and grandfather of Nanic, listed among the painters of the Crozant and Gargilesse schools, as well as among the artists of the island of Bréhat.
Instead of copying it here, I recommend you check out his richly illustrated and very comprehensive biography on the website created by the Osterlind family’s descendants, which you can find here: https://osterlind.fr/s/catalogue/page/biographie-allan
