Glazed Ceramic Lamp With Glass Inclusions – Work From The 1970s
A substantial table lamp made of wheel-thrown ceramic, featuring a baluster shape with a wide handle, crafted in the spirit of Brutalism and 1970s arts and crafts.
The surface features a beautiful, nuanced brown glaze with firing effects, accented by subtle vertical drips. The body is perforated with circular holes and adorned with four large recesses filled with inclusions of molten colored glass in shades of amber, green, blue, and orange. When lit, the lamp casts a warm glow and particularly highlights these translucent inclusions.
Electrical components are in place (operation must be verified according to the standards in effect in the country of use).
A high-quality decorative piece, characteristic of European ceramic production from the 1970s, equally at home in a vintage or contemporary interior.
