Enameled Glass Vase By Théodore Legras – Chrysanthemum Design – 19th-century Art Nouveau

An antique olive-green blown-glass vase, produced by the Théodore Legras factory in the late 19th century or very early 20th century.

This charming piece features a baluster shape with a twisted body.
The decoration, finely executed in polychrome enamel, depicts chrysanthemums in shades of red, ochre, and yellow, accompanied by foliage in shades of green.
The neck is embellished with a gilded ornamental frieze of Japanese-inspired design, highlighting the influence of Art Nouveau and the fascination with the Far East that characterizes Théodore Legras’s creations.
