First Pair Of Curtains With A Directoire-style Print, Lined With Blackout Fabric
A beautiful pair of large cotton curtains printed with a remarkable Directoire-inspired design, featuring an elegant neoclassical motif that blends ancient ruins, exotic animals, lions, elephants, swans, ancient urns, and allegorical figures in finely drawn medallions.
The print, executed in a delicate harmony of burgundy red on an ecru background, evokes the famous decorative fabrics of the late 18th and early 19th centuries, reimagined in a timeless spirit. The set adds a great deal of character while maintaining a soft, pleasing visual appeal.
The curtains are fully lined with blackout fabric, giving them a beautiful drape and excellent comfort of use.
The top is finished with even pleats and pre-installed hooks, allowing for immediate installation.
A second identical pair is also available on this site, allowing you to dress large windows or a reception room with perfect harmony.

- Width: 140 cm per curtain

They are magnificent… This design is highly evocative of the neoclassical style inspired by the Directoire and the nascent Empire periods: antique medallions, exotic animals, ruins, swans, lions, urns, and allegorical figures come together to form a highly elegant ensemble. The blackout lining also gives them a beautiful drape.
I find this fabric particularly striking. It recalls the grand French upholstery fabrics inspired by the late 18th century, with a rich yet very balanced design. I think it will appeal to both lovers of classic decor and interior designers.
