Edouard Honoré began his career as a ceramics manufacturer in partnership with Dagoty between 1816 and 1820. In 1824, he acquired the Champroux factory in the Allier department to produce unglazed pieces, which were then sold in Paris on Boulevard Poissonnière. He died in 1855, and his son Oscar succeeded him.
