Large Nevers earthenware dish decorated in shades of blue with a scene of an ostrich hunt, based on a work by Antonio Tempesta or Johannes Stradanus.
The rim is decorated with two Chinese figures, flowering branches alternating with birds, a rabbit, and a snail.

Hunting-themed decorations are rare in Nevers pottery; they are more commonly found in Moustiers iconography.
