These small plaques were attached to the base of largeenameled sheet-metal promotional thermometers for garages (see thephoto for an example of the hole at the base of a large thermometer)
They come from a former Castrol oil sales representative,which explains their condition, and today they are prized collector’s items.
Condition is near-mint despite their age (circa 1950).
