Polychrome wooden sculpture depicting Christ from the early 14th century, likely made in Lucca (Tuscany). The Gothic movement of the body, the splayed toes, and the drapery of the loincloth recall late 13th-century French ivories from the Ile-de-France region. The main feature is the length of the loincloth, which almost completely covers the knees, a typical feature of 14th-century sculptures.
