An elegant Swedish flat-top desk resting on four turned legs and featuring five drawers on the front, including a central one that locks. Made in the second half of the 19th century, it features a painted design simulating precious wood marquetry, accented with black trim, characteristic of certain Scandinavian pieces from this period.

The top, framed by a low molding, retains a beautiful patina from use, attesting to its authenticity. The antique bronze hardware adds a refined touch to the piece. The desk is carved on all sides, allowing it to be displayed as a centerpiece in a room.
