Empire-style two-section sideboard in walnut, early 19th century
Elegant Empire-style two-section sideboard in solid walnut, featuring two solid doors at the top that open to reveal ample storage space. The lower section features two drawers along the sides and two doors as well.
The piece is adorned with small columns featuring capitals and bases in gilded bronze, characteristic of the Empire style.
The panels are highlighted by flamed walnut, which offers a warm honey-brown patina.
The proportions are well-balanced. It retains its lock holes and much of its original hardware.
The piece is in good condition, displaying a beautiful antique patina. The interiors are well-maintained and polished.
