Curved wrought-iron transom window, stamped “GIROD FECIT” and dated 1751, featuring magnificent scrollwork surrounding a central cross, along with embossed metal panels. All forged pieces are riveted. A very fine example of ironwork, perfectly preserved, with a superb natural patina, and bearing the mark of an 18th-century ironworker—which is rare. A highly decorative piece that can serve as a transom or simply be displayed on the wall as a sculpture...
Dimensions: 132 x 65 cm
