Regency-style Mirror With A Gilded Wooden Pediment
A superb and elegant Regency-era mirror in gilded wood. Rectangular in shape, it is adorned all around its edges with foliage motifs and scrollwork against a guilloché background. The piece is topped by a finely carved and openwork pediment. It features a design of a dolphin’s head, flowers, acanthus leaves, and scrollwork. The carving is of exceptional quality and the proportions are beautiful. A fine piece of craftsmanship in very good condition.
