Large decorative platter in Longwy enamelware – Maintenon design

Superb decorative platter in glazed earthenware from Émaux de Longwy, crafted in the art workshops of the famous Lorraine manufacturer.

It features an elegant polychrome design of a bouquet of flowers in the center, surrounded by a rich floral garland accented with gold on a deep burgundy crackled background, characteristic of Longwy’s productions.

The reverse bears the stamp “Émaux de Longwy France – Atelier d’Art”, as well as an original label reading: “ Maintenon”, a piece from a limited edition of 200 copies, copy no. 10.

The design is signed by M. Chéron and the highlights are signed.

This high-quality piece combines the tradition of Longwy cloisonné enamel with a refined composition inspired by classic French floral motifs.
