A very impressive centerpiece chandelier, crafted from intricately chiseled bronze and gilded with mercury.
This magnificent Louis XV-style candelabra is directly inspired by the designs of Juste-Aurèle Meissonnier (1695–1750).Meissonnier was one of the greatest masters and theorists of the Rocaille style.
This particular model, characterized by its asymmetrical, whip-like branches, its rocaille motifs, swirling acanthus foliage, and twisted shaft, echoes the famous design of the pair of candelabra he created in 1734 for the Duke of Kingston.

Large dimensions (height 83 cm) and a substantial weight of 18 kg
Monogrammed “BD” on the reverse, the mark of the famous bronze artist Barbedienne.
