Steel, nickel silver, horn, brass, leather
Total length: 98.5 cm; Blade length: 85 cm
Nickel silver mount with traces of nickel plating.
Hilt with a long, spoon-shaped pommel, surmounted by three discs of decreasing diameter, monogrammed ‘J.B’.
Tang in buffalo horn, filigree-worked with twisted brass wires.
Rounded guard, pierced with an eyelet on the upper part.
Leather thong.
Three secondary quillons.
Oval-shaped guard ending in a teardrop-shaped quillon.
Straight blade with a single edge and fuller, engraved ‘PARIS 1914’ in an oval on one side and marked ‘F.B.D. NICKEL’ in an oval on the other side.
Leather tang.
Steel scabbard with traces of nickel plating, featuring a loop for a belt, and a lyre-shaped tip.
