Set Of 6 Antique Walnut Inlaid Chairs, Italy, 19th Century

We are pleased to present a stunning set of six antique Italian chairs from the Charles X period, dating from the first half of the 19th century. These chairs feature a solid walnut frame that embodies the elegance of this historical era.

The backrest boasts a unique heart-shaped design. The walnut is finely inlaid, a testament to exceptional cabinetmaking craftsmanship. The small, classic-style decoration is created using small pieces of light wood (maple) set into the walnut. The result of this intricate inlay is a true work of art that creates an elegant visual accent. The upholstered seat ensures maximum comfort, making these chairs a perfect addition to any setting. The front legs are finely turned, while the rear legs have the classic sabre shape.

The chairs are in excellent condition with regard to the wood, showing minimal signs of wear consistent with their age. The upholstery is in good condition. The current light brown fabric is worn and has several stains; we recommend replacing it with new fabric.
