Émile Clerico (pseudonym of Émile De Clercq) (Ledeberg, 1902 – Ghent, 1976) was a painter from Ghent, renowned for his still lifes and flower paintings. It is countersigned on the back. It is in good condition, with one restoration that is not visible.Otherwise, the condition is good. Clerico was a student of Karel Van Belle (1884–1959). He set up his studio in De Pand (Onderbergen), then at the Carmelite convent in Patershol, Ghent. Dimensions with frame: 104 cm by 124 cm
