Mahogany Hot Water Bottle Table, Louis XVI Style
A table made of solid mahogany and a single strip of mahogany veneer, featuring two drawers with bronze lens-shaped knobs. The sides and bottoms of the drawers are made of oak. On the sides, this table has shelves framed by mahogany. They are lined with green leather.
This table rests on four tapered legs with fluted shafts, ending in a spade-shaped foot. At the top, we see fluting on the apron.
This Louis XVI hot water bottle table is topped with a beautiful circular Belgian Sainte Anne gray marble slab. This is surrounded by a brass gallery that is chiseled at the bottom and openwork at the top.
