The "NENJU or JUZU" rosary is made up of 20 bone skull sculptures.
The largest head at the end of the rosary represents Buddha.
In Chinese Buddhism, Nenju are beads of mindfulness, as opposed to Juzu counting beads.
Although Juzu can be likened to a lucky charm, it nevertheless retains its religious character and remains the symbol of the spiritual elevation inherent in Buddhist philosophy.
