Mahogany chest of drawers with doors, top in white-veined black marble.
The front is flanked by engaged balusters on the corner, and the rear jambs form projecting pilasters.
Molded baseboard in stained pearwood, with projecting ends.
Rich gilded bronze decoration: water leaves, lotus leaves and flowers, acanthus leaves, forget-me-nots, lyre, quiver, ribbons and oak leaf wreath.
Cloverleaf barrel lock.
The leaves open onto three rows of drawers.
First Empire period.
Attribution to Alexandre Maigret ( Active rue Vivienne in Paris between 1775 and 1825).
