Vienna - Sterling Silver Box
An elegant oval covered box in sterling silver, dating from the 19th century. The body and domed cover are designed with fluted panels, each underlined by beaded borders. The finial is formed by a finely chased floral bouquet rendered in a naturalistic style, while the interior is gilt.
Silversmith: Joseph Carl Klinkosch, active between 1844 and 1884 in Vienna.
