A platinum ring (>850°/°°) set in its center with a large oval sapphire weighing 7.37 carats (11.21x9.64x7.30 mm) Intense Blue Ceylon, unheated, surrounded by an openwork geometric design set with brilliant-cut diamonds. The setting features a geometric construction characteristic of the Art Deco aesthetic. French work from the Art Deco period circa 1925. Dog-head hallmark for the platinum. Note the presence of a Bellerophon certificate for the center stone.
