Original to Belgium. This coat of arms is adorned with lions. Ribbon bearing the inscription "Union Fait Force", meaning "Union is strength".
This type of object was often placed at the entrance to a town hall, notary's office or administrative building.
Made from solid cast iron. Traces of gilding are still visible.
Magnificently patinated. It was once topped by a crown, but this has now disappeared.
The price includes a custom-made metal base enabling it to be placed vertically on a table.
