Exemplaire numéroté sur vélin pur chiffon. Envoi de l'auteur. Sidonie Gabrielle Colette, known as Colette, born in 1873 in Saint-Sauveur-en-Puisaye (Yonne) and died in 1954 in Paris, was a French woman of letters, journalist and actress. She was the second woman elected to the Académie Française. She is one of France's most famous writers, and rightly so. A feminist and atheist, Colette was also an actress and a well-known public figure. She became known under Willy's pen by the Claudines (whom she victimized as a nigger). Chéri is Colette's best-known and most adapted work (theater and film).
