Albert Camus, born on November 7, 1913 in Mondovi, near Bône (now Annaba) in the department of Constantine (since 1962) Dréan in the willaya of El Taref; in Algeria, and died on January 4, 1960 in Villeblevin, in the Yonne, was a French writer, philosopher, novelist, playwright, essayist and short story writer. He was also a militant journalist involved in the French Resistance and the moral battles of the post-war period. Illustrated with 96 color lithographs. Each volume illustrated by a different illustrator: Buffet, Cottavoz, Simon, Mühl, Jansem, Garcia-Fons, Minaux, Hambourg. One of the first 300 numbered copies on "Albert Camus" watermarked Arches vellum, including a suite of color lithographs, very good condition.
