Saint-hubert Sideboard In Oak And Blackened Wood, French Work From The End Of The XIXᵉ.
Oak and blackened wood Saint-Hubert buffet, French work from the late XIXᵉ century.
The lower section opens with two molded leaves framed with black fillets, topped by two drawers in the waistband fitted with their original drop handles.
The upper tier features two shelves supported by carved brackets decorated with fruit and foliage, and topped by an elegant scalloped pediment richly carved in the spirit of Saint-Hubert sideboards.
Very fine quality of carving and superb warm walnut patina highlighting the furniture's moving lines and decorative details.
