Rudolf SCHWEITZER CUMPANA is a Romanian painter born in 1886 and died in 1975
He was born in PITESTI into a family of German origin, from 1904 to 1909, where he studied with Erich Hancke, Arthur Kampf and Anton van Werner. He then returned to Romania, where he worked extensively on scenesscenes and portraits inspired by village life, houses, still lifes, churches still lifes, churches and monasteries.

Good general condition,to note some small lack of paint in some places and some craquelure, to clean ( see photos)
