Black-lacquered central shaft with brass-accented sides, giving a graphic, jet-set silhouette. The ensemble is reminiscent of Rizzo's designs for Rome and Paris in the late 60s and 70s: precious materials, shiny brass, black lacquer and simple lines in the service of discreet luxury. A star photographer turned designer, Willy Rizzo furnished the interiors of the social scene (Paloma Picasso, Bardot...) and created a glamorous, timeless aesthetic.
