We present this important religious statue base in highly worked resinous (fir). A winged cherub's head on each main face and the other two sides are carved with scrolls.
This object is certainly from the late 18th century or very early 19th century.
There is polychromy and traces of gilding.
This piece is sold in its juice with missing paint.
