Solid Cherrywood Wardrobe Late 18th - Early 19th Century
Solid cherrywood cabinet, late 18th - early 19th century
Opening to two molded doors with scalloped decoration.
French work from the late 18th or early 19th century, in the spirit of provincial Louis XV rustic productions.
This cabinet features an elegant overhanging cornice resting on a soberly curved front. The richly panelled doors are adorned with beautiful openwork wrought-iron fittings, adding a great deal of character to the ensemble. The top and bottom rails are discreetly carved with stylized floral motifs.
The fully parqueted interior offers ample storage space with an antique shelf and the possibility of additional fittings depending on the desired use.
The piece rests on arched legs linked by a scalloped rail.
Very beautiful warm cherry patina with particularly decorative veining.
Healthy, stable ensemble, displaying the authentic charm of antique regional furniture.
