Louis XV-period carved and gilded beechwood stool.with long, concave and convex crosspieces. Thisstool features asymmetrical rocaille carvings with a burst pomegranateasymmetrical sculpture of pomegranate bursts set in vigorouslyfoliage. The base features a moderately curved movementgradually hollowed out. The naturalistic ornamentation of the corner stopswith flowering foliage, combined with that of the base coveredwith foliage matching the crosspieces, contribute to the refined eleganceelegance of this stool.
