Superb desk and armchair set attributed to Michel Dufet, an architect and decorator renowned for his modernist creations.
In ceruse and varnished oak.
Leather upholstered armchair in excellent condition.
The desk opens to two doors and three drawers. Interior layout with sliding compartments, very practical given the depth of the desk. Two side pulls.
The handles are in bakelite (one of them shows a small repair - solid -, see photo).
The top is in good used condition, with a few small, barely perceptible stains to report.
Modernist structure with a recess at the base of the armchair and desk, black lacquered.
Functional and solid.
