Pair Of Colonial-style Teak Planter Armchairs. Double Caning. Late 19th - Early 20th Century.
Nice pair of colonial armchairs known as "de planteur". They are made of teakwith double wickerwork on the back and resting on two turned legs at the front and crosse-shaped at the rear. The tilted backrest provides great comfort, and two footrest bars swivel out from under the armrests. Very good overall condition with a beautiful antique patina. Late 19th - early 20th century.
