The piece consists of two stacked sections. The lower section features two doors decorated with panels of scrolls and vine tendrils, entirely carved from walnut with plant motifs and anthropomorphic figures, separated by pilasters with half-length caryatids. The upper section is adorned with a carved, openwork frieze featuring tendrils and foliage. The top is hinged and opens to reveal a drop-down compartment with two rows of small drawers fitted with bronze handles. The piece rests on carved claw feet.
