Important Renaissance-style table made from richly carved walnut.
It features a rectangular top with a thick molded edge and finely decorated with carved friezes. The belt is decorated with foliate motifs and mascarons in the Renaissance taste, testifying to remarkable sculptural work.
The architectural base rests on powerful fluted column feet joined by a worked strut, the whole ending in carved scroll feet.
Thanks to its generous dimensions and the quality of its decoration, this table could equally well be used as a dining room table, a bookcase or a display table.
