Second Half Of The 18th Century Neoclassical Inlaid Chest Of Drawers
Refined and unique chest of drawers, of modest size, made
of solid walnut veneer and inlaid with walnut and fruitwood. The piece features
truncated pyramid legs, typical of the Neoclassical period, and two ergonomic
and practical drawers for storing objects. The rich decorative effect is
achieved by the inlays on the front, sides, and top, featuring geometric lines
and interwoven floral decorations. The top also features a small panel
depicting two birds drinking from a fountain. This chest of drawers exudes
great taste and refinement, adding a touch of class and antiquity to any space.
Made in Emilia-Romagna, during the Louis XVI period, around the second half of
the 18th century.
