superb rare French walnut renaissance table from the late 16th/early 17th century
Very fine table that can be used as a display table or a desk as it has a height below the belt of 65cm.
Beautiful top with carved frieze. The belt is decorated with spinning tops at the corners. In addition, the table features a superb carved frieze where we can find cherubs, foliage, birds and carved heads.
It rests on a base with carved runners connected by a carved wooden strut
It rests on 7 carved columns
Magnificent patina and in superb condition
The table has known a restoration during the 19th century
