The piece stands out for the exceptional quality of its carving, which is richly detailed and virtuosic, featuring volutes, leaf motifs, floral elements, and a dramatic flow of rare elegance.
The structure, crafted from finely carved and gilded wood, features sumptuous openwork decoration in the full Baroque style, enhanced by antique gilding perfectly preserved in its patina. The curved legs and rich ornamental interlacing lend the piece a sculptural monumentality of great aesthetic impact.
The contoured top is made of fine “Fior di Pesco” marble, with refined polychrome veining, perfectly complementing the piece’s grandeur.
