The oak panel is composed of four unparqueted boards and bears thebears the Antwerp guild mark on the back.
The gilded wood pastel framewood, French Louis XV period, is slightly missing.a few spots.
Of museum quality, a second, almost similar version of identical dimensions is known.identical dimensions. It is preserved at the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Rouenas the last photograph shows.
The details of our representation are more finelyare more finely realized, and the background is enriched,particularly on the right-hand side of the work.
