A delightful pair of figurines in biscuit, depicting two children in rustic clothing, finely sculpted and delicately hand-painted.
One of the figures, the little girl, wears a wide-brimmed hat and a cream-colored dress adorned with floral motifs; the other, the little boy, wears a straw hat, a decorated shirt, and short trousers. Both are depicted in a lively and joyful pose.
French production from the late 19th century – early 20th century.
Condition: excellent overall condition; no visible restoration, slight signs of wear consistent with age. Note a tiny chip on the boy’s hat (see last photo).
