Silver carving and serving set, consisting of four pieces in its original box signed Robert Degersheim, goldsmith in Paris.
This elegant set includes a serving knife, carving fork, serving spoon and fork.
The richly decorated handles feature fine neoclassical guilloche and ornamental decoration.
Two pieces feature carved organic bone elements, providing a refined contrast to the silver.
The original box is trimmed in blue satin bearing the mark:
"Robert Degersheim - Orfèvre - 48 rue St Sulpice - Paris".
French work from the late 19th or early 20th century, in the taste of bourgeois tableware and reception sets.
