Rare Austro-Hungarian parasol handle, Art Nouveau, Belle Époque period, circa 1900.
Elegant blond speckled tortoiseshell shaft, topped by a large cylindrical pommel in polished dark green jade. The finely worked silver mounting is adorned with cobalt-blue enamels decorated with stylized friezes and embellished with small emerald-green cabochons.
Very fine late 19th-century goldsmith's work, of Austro-Hungarian origin from the Art Nouveau period.
