Ecole de Nancy in the taste of Majorelle: Rare and spectacular pair of Art Nouveau period mahogany coat racks, richly carved with floral and plant motifs.
Each element features a large beveled central mirror, topped by an openwork pediment adorned with stylized flowers and carved decorations typical of the 1900 aesthetic.
The sinuous lines and curved uprights recall the creations of the École de Nancy and the influence of Majorelle.
The sides are trimmed with numerous brass coat hooks, with integrated umbrella holders and metal trays at the bottom.
Coffre-banquette in the lower section.
Very fine quality of cabinetwork and monumental proportions.
