Small enamelled 18th-century English box of round shape.
The slightly domed lid is painted in polychrome on a white background with a lively scene: two young women in conversation stand in a wooded landscape; one holds a hat, the other a fan.
Both the rim and the base are pink enameled.
Good condition; a tiny enamel skip on the bottom of the box is not visible when the box is set.
