Important Italian majolica cache-pot with hand-painted decoration of bunches of grapes and large stylized foliage on a deep blue background enhanced by yellow and ochre scrolls.
This elegant decorative piece features a beautiful flared shape, highlighted by two large side handles adorned with sculpted masks. The decoration, highly representative of Italian production in the Mediterranean tradition, evokes the workshops of Deruta or Montelupo in the twentieth century.
