Large Cobalt Blue Chased Crystal Bowl Circa 1960 Lemberg Crystal Works
The Cristallerie de Lemberg was founded in 1925 by Théodore Heitzman. The latter, a baker for the neighboring Saint Louis crystal works, decided to create Cristallerie Lorraine (Cristallerie de Lemberg).
Most of the twenty crystal artists were glassmakers from the Cristallerie de Saint Louis.
Thanks to them, he was able to manufacture "Cristal haut de gamme"(24 to 30 % lead content), i.e. crystal of excellent quality, as confirmed by the period label on the cup indicating this lead content.
Cut numbered 927/1000, in perfect condition without the slightest impact.
