draped in the antique style carrying a sculptor's hammer, which can be identified as a re-presentation of Michelangelo.
Water-leaf decorated grip surmounted by a small acorn, stylized flame claws.
Early 19th century repoussé and gilded silver work.
Unidentified silversmith's hallmark (FJ? with two crossed pins?).
Michelangelo hallmark for silver 1er title (950/000), Paris 1819-1838, and Cérès hallmark of grosse garantie de Paris 1819-1838.
Overall good condition, vermeil a little lightened by age but present throughout. One small crack under the neck on one side of 2mm.
